Read about the upcoming Federal Election. It’s not very exciting for kids, but it’s part of the Grade 5 curriculum and it’s a lot more understandable when you can see it actually happening. If you meet a candidate for Parliament, ask them questions. Ask them why they are running and what they needed to do. Real people doing this stuff is much more enjoyable than old book or web page.
And then there is the important “R’ word. READ If you do not have a Brampton Library Card, GET ONE. USE IT.
Finally be safe.
Monday Is Day 4 With French And Music, maybe.
And Subs. So That Makes It A Good Day.
Tueday Is Day 5, Gym, French, maybe.
Wednesday Is Day 1 Music and French, maybe. And Pizza. Not As Good As Subs, But What Can You Do?
Thursday Is Day 2 French, maybe.
Why all those maybes? Because it’s the last week. Events all over the school can change plans at the last minute. Gym is cancelled on Monday. That doesn’t affect us, but things like that are happening all over the building. It’s mostly Grade 8 Grad that is changing things, but there are always lots of unexpected issues during the last week. Be ready for them.
For the record, there is NO party on Thursday. We are not bringing food or drink. There will be one presentation of the Iron Man award for the person from 4a who had no absences and no lates, but that is the only significant change to routine for class 4A.
I can tell you where you are going next year. Grade 5. Yup, that’s all you’re getting from me.
Why?
Because things can still change over the summer.
Because things can change during reorganization.
Because things can change in your world.
Because I can’t remember were I put people.
OK, mainly because I can’t remember.
Friday Is Day nuttin! Teachers Will Be Moving Rooms And Having Meetings. You Will Be Doing Something Else. Friday is also last message day. There is a posting that will become visible at 3:36 a.m. Friday morning. Some advice about summer and what to do.
