Plants Part 2

Geraniums are wonderful plants. They are tough, drought resistant, that means they don’t die when short of water. They have nice simple flowers and produce those flowers year round. However, they are not known for being tidy. They just grow where they want and are not really know for being graceful.

Still as tough plants, they will last years and years as long as you protect them from frost.

This is the mess of the plant that these came from. It was sitting in the corner of the classroom by the whiteboard most of the year, so an old friend for you!

Here is a closeup of one of the four cuttings.

And here are all four of the cuttings

I’m going to label them, from left to right Cutting A (water in jar) Cutting B (Vermiculite in Jar) Cutting C (water in cup), Cutting D (vermiculite in cup). It is 12:00 noon on May 11, 2020. When we started.

If you are doing this too, your start date may be important. But everything else should be the same. How many plants will I get out of this? All 4? And what will be in the last jar?
